Community Action Plan

MACDT works towards facilitating projects that deliver the aspirations set out in the Meigle and Ardler Community Action Plan (CAP), a document that is reviewed every five years. 

The current version of the CAP was produced in 2021 following an extensive consultation process involving the communities of Meigle and Ardler, looking at what local residents would like to see happening within the area they live in. The consultation process was led by MACDT and Meigle and Ardler Community Council and the CAP can be viewed or downloaded below.

Along with Meigle and Ardler Community Council and other community groups, MACDT is part of a Steering Group that is currently reviewing the Community Action Plan and updating it for the next five years. 

There have been a number of changes in Meigle and Ardler since the first CAP was produced, and the Steering Group is keen to find out what local people think about Meigle and Ardler now and gather views on how residents think it could be improved as a place to live in, work in or visit.

As part of this, a short survey is open throughout the month of September. Copies of the survey are being distributed to each household with the community newsletter and will be available in various local outlets.

The updated Community Action Plan for 2027-2032 will be launched early next year.
